Elizabeth Cromwell has a diverse work experience spanning across various organizations. Elizabeth most recently worked as the Director of Biostatistics at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation since October 2020. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation from October 2016 to October 2020. Elizabeth also worked as a Doctoral Student in Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from August 2011 to September 2016. Earlier in their career, they served as an Assistant Director for the Trachoma Control Program at The Carter Center from October 2005 to July 2011. Elizabeth also has experience as a Health Extension Volunteer in Niger with the Peace Corps from July 2003 to August 2005.
Elizabeth Cromwell obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from DePaul University in 2003. Elizabeth then pursued a Master's degree in Public Health with a focus on Global Health at Emory University from 2006 to 2008. Continuing their education, they achieved a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill between 2011 and 2016.
