Genta Arovas

Genta Arovas, CAIA, currently serves as the Managing Director of Investment Operations at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a position held since November 2019, following a tenure as Director of Investment Operations. Prior to this role, Genta was Director of Investment Operations at the Smithsonian Institution from July 2014 to November 2019, providing leadership in investment management. Genta briefly held the role of Interim VP of Operations at Women for Women International in 2014, delivering executive leadership for programs aimed at empowering women in conflict-affected countries. Earlier career experience includes serving as Chief Operating Officer at SEAF from July 1999 to January 2014, where responsibilities encompassed various management roles including VP of Portfolio Management and Project Manager/Acting Controller. Genta holds an MA in International Finance from the University of Maryland, along with several other qualifications, including being an Accredited Valuation Analyst.
