Dr Costas A. Makris

Dr. Costas A. Makris has extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as the Director of Network and Information Security, Head of Cybersecurity, and Head of Value Added Services at CYTA since September 1992. Prior roles at CYTA include Head of CYTANET Network & Systems and Technical Services in Digital Switching Systems. Dr. Makris began a career in academia as a Post-doctoral Research Associate and Research Assistant at Imperial College London from October 1988 to August 1992. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Electronic Engineering and a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, both obtained from Imperial College London.
