Grace Hsu has a diverse and extensive work experience. Grace started their career at The University of British Columbia as a Teaching & Academic Assistant and also conducted research as a Statistics NSERC USRA. At Simon Fraser University, they worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant, where they studied statistical up and downscaling and presented a paper on combining information across spatial scales. Grace then joined Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Data Analyst/Scientist, where they implemented and compared multiple methods of Gaussian process emulation for experimental data.

Most recently, Grace worked at Cytel, starting as a Statistician and later becoming a Senior Research Consultant, Statistician, and eventually an Associate Director & Research Principal. During their time at Cytel, they developed and presented advanced methods, proposals, and negotiated budgets. Grace was responsible for managing over 5 million USD of work with top ten pharma companies and played a key role in building a new department. Grace also supported client submissions to HTAs and other regulatory bodies.

Throughout their career, Grace has demonstrated expertise in technical writing, having published studies in prestigious journals and written editorials and correspondence. Grace also has experience in resource allocation and project management, as well as designing and executing simulations for clinical trials.

Grace Hsu pursued their education with a focus on mathematics and statistics. Grace first attended The University of British Columbia from 2011 to 2016, where they obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree with a minor in Statistics. Following that, they attended Simon Fraser University from 2016 to 2018 and earned a Master's of Science degree in Statistics. In addition to their academic achievements, Grace Hsu obtained several certifications related to drug development and commercialization, such as Drug Commercialization, Drug Development, Drug Development Product Management Specialization, and Drug Discovery, from UC San Diego in December 2022.
