Nadia Lesnikova

Principal Statistical Programmer, FSP at Cytel

Nadia Lesnikova has over 25 years of work experience in statistical programming and data analysis. Nadia started their career as a Programmer Analyst at the Research Clinical Institute of Radiation Medicine, where they developed software applications for study management activities. Nadia then served as a Senior Data Analyst and later as the Head of Data Coordinating Center for a clinical study on thyroid cancer and other thyroid diseases. In these roles, they designed case report forms, developed VBA and SAS applications for data collection, and created reports for monitoring recruitment and data completion.

After their time at the Research Clinical Institute, Nadia joined Syreon Clinical Research as a Statistical Programmer Analyst. Here, they helped develop analysis data sets and data set specifications according to ADAM and supported statistical programming activities for multiple clinical research projects. Nadia also took on the role of Senior Statistical Programmer/Analyst, where they provided programming leadership, conducted quality assurance checks on SAS programs, and prepared documentation of the results.

Following their tenure at Syreon Clinical Research, Nadia worked at the BC Centre for Disease Control as a Surveillance Analyst. In this role, they performed analyses of surveillance data, monitored disease trends, and evaluated the effectiveness of disease control programs and policies. Nadia worked with data from various sources, including complaints, adverse events, and electronic healthcare databases.

Nadia then joined Shire as a Senior Statistical Programmer/Consultant, where they managed the Outcome Survey analysis databases and provided descriptive statistics. Nadia interacted with biostatisticians, implemented analysis methods according to the SAP, and produced summary tables, graphs, and data listings using SAS.

Most recently, Nadia has been working at Cytel as a Principal Statistical Programmer for FSP projects. In this role, they lead or contributes to statistical programming activities, ensures alignment with regulatory requirements, and maintains the accuracy and reproducibility of deliverables.

Throughout their career, Nadia has demonstrated expertise in statistical programming, data analysis, study management, and developing software applications. Nadia has a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and works diligently to ensure accuracy and quality in their deliverables.

Nadia Lesnikova earned their M.Sc in Applied Mathematics from Voronezh State University in Russia. In addition to their degree, they also obtained two certifications from SAS: the Advanced Programming Certificate for SAS 9® in December 2009 and the Base Programming Certificate for SAS 9® in December 2009.
