Pantelis Vlachos

Pantelis Vlachos has extensive work experience in the field of biostatistics and consulting. Pantelis started their career in 1991 as a Research Associate at the University of Connecticut and worked there until 1996. Following that, they joined Carnegie Mellon University in 1996 as an Associate Teaching Professor and stayed with the institution until 2008. In 2009, Pantelis Vlachos joined Merck Serono as a Principal Specialist, where they focused on global processes, systems, research, and standards until 2013. Since 2013, they have been associated with Cytel, initially as a Principal Biostatistician and later as the Director of Strategic Consulting. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Customer Success at Cytel.

Pantelis Vlachos began their education at the University of Ioannina from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Pantelis then went on to attend the University of Connecticut from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a PhD in Statistics. Prior to their university studies, Pantelis attended 2o Lykeio N. Psychikou from 1985 to 1987, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period.
