Soman Kumar Chowdhury

Soman Kumar Chowdhury has a diverse work experience spanning from 2010 to 2019. Soman Kumar started their career as a Seminar Lecturer in Statistics at Burdwan Raj College from September 2010 to August 2012. Following this, they worked as a Clinical Programming Intern at Cliplab Cytel Clinical Programming Laboratory from September 2012 to January 2013, gaining valuable experience in the field. In July 2013, Soman joined Biocon Research Limited as a Scientist, where they worked as a Bio-statistician in various Therapeutic Areas like Diabetes, Rheumatoid arthritis, and Psoriasis. Soman Kumar'sresponsibilities included technical discussions for trial design, protocol preparation, review of statistical sections, and providing inputs for sample size. Soman then moved on to Cytel in July 2015, starting as a Biostatistician and progressing to the role of Senior Biostatistician from October 2016 to March 2019. Finally, Soman held the position of Technical Lead - Statistics at Cytel from April 2019 onwards.

Soman Kumar Chowdhury obtained a Master's degree in Biostatistics with a special paper in that field from The University of Burdwan. This educational achievement spanned from the year 2008 to 2010. Prior to this, Soman attended Ramakrishna Vivekananda Vidyamandir in Agartala, Tripura, where they completed their high school education. Additionally, Soman received a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in June 2023.
