Arun Lakhotia

Arun Lakhotia is the current Chief Technical Officer and Co-Founder at Cythereal Inc. Arun has also previously served as a Venture Partner at Valmiki Capital Management LP from July 2016 to July 2019, and as a Director at CajunBot Lab from September 2003 to January 2012. In addition, Lakhotia has also been a Professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Lakhotia has been dedicated to Acadiana Indian Association, serving as President for two terms and Past-President for one term. Arun has also been a Member of Board of Directors since January 2010. In their role, they have successfully transformed the organization from a chaotic non-profit to a well-organized, procedure-directed, mission focused organization. Additionally, they led the effort to expand the mission of the organization to connect with the broader community where it resides. Arun is also the creator of Lafayette Holi Festival, the first celebration Holi in the USA that is dedicated to a city.

Arun Lakhotia holds a PhD in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University and an M.Sc. (Tech) in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
