Diego Amado

Diego Amado, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the fields of membrane research, biotechnology, and organic chemistry. Diego has held various positions at companies including Cytiva and Pall Corporation, where they served as a Principal Scientist. Diego also worked at Oasys Water as a Membrane R&D Team Leader and Senior Membrane Scientist, contributing to the design and development of innovative membrane technologies. Prior to these roles, Diego gained experience as an intern at Bosch Technology Center and as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford Genome Technology Center, where they focused on molecular design and protein sensing. Diego began their career as a PhD candidate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, conducting research projects, writing papers, and training undergraduate students in chemistry. Diego also worked as a Research Scientist at the Instituto Colombiano del Petroleo - Universidad Industrial de Santander and as a Teaching Assistant at Universidad Industrial de Santander. Diego Amado, Ph.D. earned their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Chemistry from Universidad Industrial de Santander. Continuing their education, Diego completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
