Jeff Lotz

Jeff joined us as Vice President, Sales and Operations in September 2021.

Jeff has over 23 years of pharmaceutical experience at Pfizer and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, including roles of increasing responsibility leading sales, brand marketing, sales operations, business unit operations, and supply chain management. Prior to joining Cytokinetics, Jeff served as Vice President of Pfizer’s U.S. Rheumatology and Gastroenterology Sales Team transforming their customer engagement model during the global pandemic. Prior to that role, he held several leadership positions including Vice President of US. Marketing where he led the commercialization of Pfizer’s first janus kinase inhibitor. His biopharma experience spans multiple therapeutic areas in both the clinic and hospital settings. Jeff spent the first 5 years of his career in manufacturing and engineering at Ford Motor Company and American Cyanamid.

Jeff is an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion and co-led an enterprise-wide initiative at Pfizer that supported the development of women for leadership positions.

Jeff received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University and an M.S.E. in Management of Technology from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Wharton School of Business.

Jeff resides in the Philadelphia area with his wife, their four sons, and two English Bulldogs. Jeff played soccer for nearly 35 years and eventually hung up his cleats to coach soccer, lacrosse, and basketball. He spends his spare time with his family watching his sons play lacrosse, playing golf, and doing a variety of water sports behind their boat.
