Manmeet Raval

Manmeet Raval currently serves as a Senior Research Scientist II and Senior Group Leader at Cytokinetics, specializing in preclinical drug development in muscle biology and metabolism since April 2020. Raval's expertise focuses on identifying therapeutic targets and developing novel drug candidates for conditions such as muscular dystrophies and heart failure. Prior to this role, Raval was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Southern California, investigating age-associated functional decline in stem cells. Raval completed a Ph.D. in Cellular and Molecular Biology at Penn State University, where earlier research explored the mechanisms of myosin-mediated regulation in sensory perception.
