Mohsin Rahim

Mohsin Rahim is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in biology technologies and multiomics. Currently serving as Senior Scientist I at Cytokinetics, Mohsin leads two novel target discovery programs, integrating pharmacology, metabolomics, and DMPK strategies. Prior roles include Scientist II at Cytokinetics and Scientist I at PTC Therapeutics, where essential contributions were made to drug candidate pharmacodynamics, metabolic studies in neurodegenerative models, and development of advanced analytical methods. Mohsin's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Vanderbilt University, complemented by a Master’s in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree from Trinity University. Early career experience also includes systems engineering and research assistant roles, showcasing a strong foundation in both scientific research and IT solutions.
