Rachel E. Melman

Rachel E. Melman is an experienced professional in regulatory affairs, currently serving as Executive Director of Regulatory Affairs at Cytokinetics since November 2014. Rachel has held various leadership roles in regulatory strategy for cardiovascular programs from preclinical to Phase 3, managing regulatory activities and advising study teams on strategy throughout her tenure. Prior to Cytokinetics, Rachel served as Senior Manager of Regulatory Affairs at Exelixis, overseeing international Phase 3 studies, and held regulatory positions at Affymax and Kalypsys. Rachel holds a Master of Bioscience degree in Clinical and Regulatory Affairs from Keck Graduate Institute and a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
