Guy Shakhar

Guy Shakhar is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in academic and operational leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Science Operations at CytoReason since April 2021 and as a Senior Consultant and Associate Professor at the Weizmann Institute of Science, Guy has been instrumental in advancing scientific knowledge. Previous roles include Co-Founder at Mapkins from March 2019 to August 2022 and Senior Scientist at the Weizmann Institute from 2006 to 2015. Guy Shakhar holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in NeuroImmunology from Tel Aviv University and completed postdoctoral studies in Immunology at NYU School of Medicine. Additionally, Guy earned a Master's degree in biopsychology from Tel Aviv University as part of the Interdisciplinary Program for Outstanding Students.
