Valeria Sandoval Torres is currently a Teacher Assistant and Lab Demonstrator in the School of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Bristol, where responsibilities include demonstrating laboratory protocols, guiding students, maintaining safety, and providing feedback on assessments. As a PhD Candidate, Valeria is focused on the development of Artificial Membrane Binding Proteins to enhance Oncological Adoptive Cell Therapies. Previous experience includes teaching middle school biology, designing curricula, and assessing scientific progress at various educational institutions, as well as serving as a research fellow at the Instituto de Biotecnología UNAM. Valeria holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Cellular and Molecular Medicine from the University of Bristol and degrees in Biochemistry and Clinical Biochemistry.
