Uwe Gerks

Uwe Gerks has extensive work experience in sales and business management, starting as a Specialist Nurse in 1999 at Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf. Uwe then moved on to sales roles at PULSION Medical Systems SE, working as a Sales Representative and later as Regional Sales Manager for Northern Germany and Sales Manager for Poland. Currently, Uwe holds the position of Vice President Business Germany at CytoSorbents Corporation, where they have progressively advanced from Regional Sales Manager to Sales Director for Central Europe and now serves as the Vice President. Their expertise lies in business development, with a focus on the German market.

Uwe Gerks attended Krankenpflegeschule am Max Bürger Zentrum Berlin from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a degree as a Krankenpfleger. Uwe then pursued further education at Fachweiterbildungsschule am Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf from 2000 to 2002, obtaining a degree as a Fachkrankenpfleger Anästhesie & Intensivmedizin. Lastly, they attended Berufliche Schule für Wirtschaft Hamburg-Eimsbüttel / Business School from 2012 to 2016, where they earned a degree as a Staatlich Geprüfter Betriebswirt.
