Alex Buie

Alex Buie's work experience includes a role as a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer at Cytracom starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Datto, Inc. from 2017 to 2022, where they held positions such as Senior Software Engineer and Network Engineer. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing networking products, providing support to developers, performing quality assurance testing, and delivering technical presentations. Before joining Datto, Alex worked as a Technical Support Specialist at Verizon from 2014 to 2016 and as a Lead Network Engineer/Third-tier Support Technician at Slable from 2008 to 2012.

Alex Buie obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Rochester Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their degree, they also hold a certification in CompTIA A+, which they obtained from CompTIA in December 2011.
