Joseph Aurilia, Jr.

Joseph Aurilia, Jr. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joseph is currently the Senior Vice President of Operations at Cyware, where they are responsible for building the company's departments and establishing a remote-first company structure. Joseph has been with Cyware since 2019 and also held the positions of COO and CIO since September 2019. Prior to their role at Cyware, Joseph worked as the Vice President of Operations, where they managed various departments such as IT Operations, Sales Operations, HR/People, Talent Acquisition, Legal Operations, and more. Joseph also oversaw multiple rounds of due diligence across global teams.

In addition to their work at Cyware, Joseph is an Executive Member at Pavilion, a role they took on in 2021. Before that, they served as the Managing Director and Chief Information Officer at EcoMen Solar from 2011 to 2019, focusing on company growth through technology and operational excellence. Joseph's earlier experience includes working at IBM as a Senior IT Specialist and Enterprise Architect, where they led enterprise application architecture projects and coordinated globally dispersed teams. Joseph also worked at AT&T as a Senior Technical Associate II, Software Engineer, and Enterprise System Lead, overseeing project management and system prototyping.

Joseph's career began at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where they held multiple roles such as Web Administrator/Developer, Transfer Chair and Board of Directors Member for New Student Orientation, and Peer Instructor. Joseph also served as the Chair and Co-Founder of the Undergraduate Student Alliance of Computer Scientists (USACS), a volunteer position that focused on providing events and educational opportunities for Computer Science students at Rutgers University.

Joseph Aurilia, Jr. received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in 2003. Later, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Technology Management from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2009.
