Maarten Kraan

Maarten Kraan is currently an advisor at Cyxone. Prior to this, they were the head of R&D at Toleranzia AB, Vicore Pharma AB, and Stallergenes Greer. Maarten has also served as CMO at Therachon and adjunct professor of rheumatology at Sahlgrenska Academy at Gothenburg University. In addition, Kraan has held positions as head of R&D at Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals and CDS GmbH, and SVP head of IMed R&I at AstraZeneca R&D.

Maarten Kraan has a PhD in Synovial Tissue Analysis from Leiden University, a Speciality Degree in Internal Medicine/Rheumatology from the same school, and an MD from Leiden University. Maarten also has a BSc in Physiotherapy from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht).
