Jim Nelson

Jim Nelson is a seasoned professional in public finance with extensive experience in investment banking. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Public Finance at D.A. Davidson & Co. since January 2013, Jim previously held the position of Vice President/Senior Municipal Underwriter at Martin Nelson & Company from May 1995 to January 2013, where contributions included work on over $5 billion in transactions. Prior roles include Assistant Vice President at US Bank of Washington, where Jim led the Flexline Financing Program for the State of Washington, and Bond Analyst/Associate at Prudential Bache Capital Funding, focusing on bond financings for various municipalities. Jim holds a degree from the University of Washington.
