Raphael de la Fontaine

Raphael de la Fontaine has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of architecture. Raphael is the Founder & Principal of De la Fontaine Architects since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Professor at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design starting from October 2017. Raphael is also the Co-Founder and Principal of D-BLK Architecture since July 2020 and the Founder and Partner of Dash-Architecture since March 2018.

Raphael has previously worked as an Architect at Santiago Calatrava LLC from November 2016 to November 2017, and as the Basel Studio Leader at Oppenheim Architecture from July 2015 to December 2016. Raphael also gained teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Yale University from January 2014 to May 2015.

Additionally, they worked as a Design Architect at Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects part-time from August 2013 to February 2015, and as a Design Architect from August 2012 to August 2013. Raphael started their career as an Architectural Designer at KPF from June 2011 to September 2012.

Raphael de la Fontaine completed their Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degree at Pratt Institute from 2007 to 2011. Raphael went on to pursue a Masters of Architecture at Yale University from 2013 to 2015.
