Yesim Sayin is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in policy analysis and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the D.C. Policy Center since October 2016, Yesim has successfully built a reputable organization with significant legislative impact and a diverse funding base. Prior to this role, Yesim held the position of Director of Fiscal and Legislative Analysis for the DC Government, leading a team responsible for scoring legislation and ensuring transparency in a complex political landscape. Additional experience includes consulting for The World Bank on public sector projects, teaching at George Washington University and George Mason University, and conducting research on public finance with the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center. Yesim holds a Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Boğaziçi University.
