Sam Marich

Sam Marich began their work experience as an Academy Intern at D.C. United in 2014. In 2015, they worked as an Equipment Intern at D.C. United, and then moved to the Colorado Rapids in 2016 for the same role. Returning to D.C. United in 2018, Sam started as an Analysis Intern before being promoted to Performance Analyst in 2019. Lastly, in 2021, they became the Head of Performance Analysis at D.C. United.

Sam Marich attended the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business from 2014 to 2018, where they received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. In 2017, they participated in the Business of Sports Program at the same university. Sam also completed a Certificate in Soccer Analytics from Sports Management Worldwide in 2017 and a Certificate in Soccer Scouting and Management from Sports Management WorldWide from 2016 to 2017. Prior to attending university, they completed their high school education at Flint Hill School from 2010 to 2014.
