Mayank Gupta

Mayank Gupta has extensive experience in financial research and analysis, currently serving as a Director at D. E. Shaw India Private Limited since June 2008, where involvement with the Energy Trading Desk focuses on complex energy derivative instruments. Prior to this role, Mayank worked as an Analyst at Goldman Sachs, participating in the Investment Banking Team with a specialization in Financial Sponsors deals and Merger Leadership advisory. Earlier experience includes a managerial position in the Credit Department at ING Vysya Bank, responsible for credit proposals and risk monitoring, as well as an internship at JM Financial, analyzing the risk-return profiles of fixed income funds. Mayank holds an MBA in Finance from IBS Hyderabad and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from Bangalore Institute of Technology.
