Asaf Shapira

Asaf Shapira has worked in a variety of roles in the engineering and business development fields. Asaf began their career in 2009 as a Mechanical Design student at HP. In 2010, they joined IEC - Israel Electric Corporation as a Project Engineer, Process Engineer and Business Development, where they were responsible for project engineering and technical management to various projects of equipment in a power plant. This included coal mills, burners, fans, motors, pumps, piping systems, and more. In 2016, they joined Elbit Systems Ltd as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Most recently, in 2020, they joined D-Fend Solutions as Mechanical Engineering Manager and Lead Mechanical Engineer.

Asaf Shapira completed their Graduate degree in Mechanical engineering-Materials from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 2005 and 2010. Asaf then completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from Tel Aviv University between 2011 and 2015. Finally, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, International Marketing from Ruppin Academic Center between 2015 and 2017.
