Thane Smith, CTS

Thane Smith has been involved in the professional world since 1983, when they began working as an AV Guy for Blumberg/Tampa. In 1988, they began working as a Medical Photographer for H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, where they were responsible for clinical medical photography, photomiscroscopy, assisting pathology, executive portraiture and producing and editing teaching videos. In 2005, they began working as an Audio Visual Specialist for PSAV. From 2010 to 2015, they worked for ShowMasters Production Logistics as a Personnel Coordinator. From 2015 to present, they have been working for D. O. Communications, Inc. in three roles: Director of Business Development, Sales Associate and Sales Consultant. Additionally, they have been a Freelance AV Tech and Playback Pro/Camera/Medical Photographer since 2001.

Thane Smith, CTS attended Grand Valley State, IADT from 1980 to 1982, studying video and photography. In October 2018, they obtained the Dante level 1 & 2 certification from Audinate.
