Judy Smith

Judy Smith is an experienced professional in the real estate and title insurance industries, currently serving as Land Entitlements Manager at D.R. Horton since January 2021, where responsibilities include conducting due diligence for financial viability of communities and overseeing the entitlement process for land development. Prior to this role, Judy held positions such as Alabama Title Agent at Mortgage Connect, LP, and Real Estate Closer at Emmanuel Sheppard & Condon Attorneys at Law, among others. With a career that includes significant roles such as Commercial Escrow Officer at Clear Title, LLC and Branch Manager at DHI Title, Judy has demonstrated expertise in operations management, closing transactions, and resolving title issues. Judy’s career began at Bay Title Insurance Company, progressing from Office Manager to Executive Vice President, managing multiple offices and teams. Judy studied at the University of South Alabama from 1982 to 1984.
