Irwan Owen

Irwan Owen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and sales across various technology sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Business Development at D-Wave since April 2021, Irwan has held multiple leadership roles within the company, focusing on quantum computing innovation. Prior to D-Wave, Irwan operated as a freelancer from January 2018 to April 2021, specializing in sales, business development, and technology consultancy. Irwan co-founded Tellybug and led sales initiatives from January 2010 to January 2018, enhancing audience engagement for TV broadcasters. Previous roles include executive positions at Redbend, Palm, NetMotion Software, Symbian PLC, Sun Microsystems, and AT&T Labs, accumulating a wealth of experience in global sales, account management, and strategic partnerships. Irwan holds a BSc(Hons) in Computation from The University of Manchester.
