Alex Zucca has extensive experience in algorithms research and development, currently serving as Team Lead at D-Wave since May 2023, following a tenure as Senior Algorithms Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at D-Wave Systems Inc. from July 2021 to May 2023. Prior to that, Alex was a PhD Graduate Student at Simon Fraser University from January 2015 to June 2019, where significant contributions included the development of an updated MGCAMB code for calculating cosmological observables in modified gravity. Alex holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Simon Fraser University and both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Physics, both with honors, from Università degli Studi di Trieste.
