Nicholas Tsai is a highly experienced scientist and engineer specializing in superconducting circuit design. Currently serving as Principal Scientist at D-Wave since May 2016, Nicholas has held the roles of Staff Scientist in the same domain, contributing to advanced quantum computing technologies. Prior experience includes over five years at PMC-Sierra as a Senior Mixed-Signal CAD Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed mixed signal flow maintenance and simulation tool setup. Nicholas also worked as an Electrical Engineer at Semiconductor Manufacturing International Company and TSMC, focusing on memory compiler development and embedded DRAM processes, respectively. Nicholas holds a Master of Science in Physics from National Chiao Tung University, obtained between 2002 and 2004.
