Graham completed their undergraduate studies in 1990. In 1992, they attended the University of Cambridge for a year and obtained a Master of Philosophy degree in Social and Political Theory. Graham then returned to Canada and enrolled at the University of Toronto - Woodsworth College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from 1995 to 1999. Graham continued their education at the same institution, completing a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from 2000 to 2001. Lastly, Graham embarked on a Ph.D. program in Mathematics at the University of Toronto, which remained incomplete from 2001 to 2007.
