Sam Andary

Sam Andary has over thirty years of experience in software engineering. Sam began their career in 1984 as a Programmer Analyst for Isticharat Consulting. Sam then moved to Canon, Inc. as an Analyst Programer (Project Leader) in 1990. In 1991, they became the Executive Director (IS/IT) of Heritage Education Funds Inc., where they were responsible for managing the IT department's Business and Financial Applications, infrastructure, and hardware. In 1995, they were hired as Manager Business Information Systems for Rexall Pharmacy Group Ltd., where they provided Systems (Software) Solutions to Head Office, Store Pharmacy and Store POS. In 1999, they became Director Of Information Systems for Source Medical, where they led a team of professionals in installing JD Edwards to production status and implemented a JIT system with Toronto Group of Hospitals. In 2013, they were hired as Principal Applications Development and Implementation for Miax Inc., where they led the application development and implementation team and handled various IT processes and projects. Finally, in 2001, they became the Principal of S2H Business Information Systems, where they are now leading the team in developing a debt collection SaaS application called D2R-Collect.

Sam Andary's education history includes a Matriculation from Westminster School in 1977, followed by Electronic Engineering studies at the University of South Australia from 1978 to 1981. Sam then completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the Lebanese American University from 1981 to 1984. In 1999, they completed an Executive Program from the Schulich School of Business at York University in the field of Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
