Joel Carreras

Joel Carreras is a Senior FPGA Engineer at D3 Engineering since October 2022, with extensive experience in embedded control systems gained during a 14-year tenure at Xerox Corporation as an Embedded Controls Engineer and Power Supply Engineer. At Xerox, Joel was responsible for designing, testing, and integrating systems that involved FPGAs and microcontrollers for digital printing presses. Prior experience includes electrical maintenance and automation work as an Electrical Engineer at Victor Insulators, Inc. Joel holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Integrated Electronics from Rochester Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Electromechanical Engineering with a focus on Electricity from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra.
