Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi

Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Mary started their career in 1993 as the Executive Director of Legal Services at DAAR Communications Plc. In 2009, they became the Managing Partner of their own law firm, Mary Lawrence Dokpesi & Associates (Attorneys & Legal Consultants). In 2013, they took on the role of Director at Cross Asanta Ltd. Mary also has a strong passion for philanthropy, serving as the President of Living Waters Mission Sports and other organizations. Additionally, they have held positions such as Editor-in-Chief at Global Banking and Dev. Magazine and Author at Living Waters Mission.

Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi began their education at Ambrose Ali University in Nigeria, where they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from 1986 to 1990. Mary'sstudies focused on Banking and Finance Law, Corporate and Commercial Law, Finance, and Securities Law. Following this, they attended the Nigerian Law School from 1991 to 1992, where they earned a BL degree in Law. Mary Lawrence-Dokpesi further pursued their education by completing a Masters of Law (LL.M) degree at Lagos State University, Nigeria, specializing in M & A, Investment Law, Commercial Law, Dispute Resolution, Insolvency, Finance, and Banking from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Sales Prospecting from LinkedIn in April 2018.
