Mario Vivern

Mario Vivern is the Development Lead at DAC. Mario has over 9 years of experience in the field of application development. Prior to joining DAC, they worked as a Senior Application Developer at DAC Group from July 2014 to December 2019. There, they were responsible for R&D, design, and development of a new internal data layer. Mario also worked in an agile development environment.

Before DAC Group, Mario worked as an Applications Developer at Advantage International from June 2010 to June 2014. There, they liaised with internal and external stakeholders to understand needs and requirements in order to continually develop, upgrade and maintain functionality in numerous applications and environments. Mario was also the point-of-contact for the DEV team and was tasked to review timelines on multiple projects and report to superiors on status of deliverables on behalf of the entire team. In addition, they were responsible for delegation of development tasks to other team members.

During their time at Advantage International, Mario developed a web based reporting portal using Qlikview. Mario also created new reports and assessed new business requirements for feasibility and timeline. Furthermore, they developed an in-house ConfirmIt portal using WCF web service and ASP.NET to enable program managers to monitor survey results, response counts and general program health used. In addition, they administered the Salesforce environment (admin, data loads, development) for Country Managers and Sales representatives worldwide. Mario also made enhancements to stored procedures and queries in PostgresSQL to improve data processing. Lastly, they managed all SharePoint sites and meet requests for new features/sites.
