Raghavendra Rao

Raghavendra Rao is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development at eBay from November 2021 to October 2025, Raghavendra has successfully built four high-performing teams and enhanced application design through the development of internal frameworks. Prior experience includes leading the Authentication Technology team at eBay, and holding senior positions at Amadeus IT Group, Sabre Holdings, and Tata Consultancy Services, where Raghavendra focused on payment processing, fraud detection, and Agile transformations. Raghavendra holds a Master's degree in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence from Northwestern University and a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
