Jose Bernal

Jose Bernal has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Jose started their career in 2003 at Regions Bank as a Team Leader/Customer Service Representative, where they trained new staff, handled escalated calls, and met monthly goals. In 2005, they joined Dade County Federal Credit Union as a Jr Staff Accountant, responsible for the payroll conversion and streamlining the internal payroll distribution process. Jose then progressed to the role of Senior Staff Accountant, where they ensured the accuracy of financial information and reconciled investments. Jose later became an Internal Auditor, Director of Internal Audit, and currently serves as the Vice President of Internal Audit at Dade County Federal Credit Union.

Jose Bernal completed their education history with a specific focus on Economics. In 2007, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Florida International University. More recently, in 2022, they attended Wharton Executive Education to study the Economics of Blockchain and Digital Assets, although no degree was specified. Besides their formal education, Jose also obtained additional certifications in related fields. In April 2022, they received the IBM Blockchain Essentials V2 certification from IBM, and in May 2022, they obtained certification in the Economics of Blockchain and Digital Assets from Wharton Online.
