Allan Sene has a diverse work experience in the field of data science, engineering, and software development. Allan is the Co-Founder and CTO of Dadosfera (formerly DataSprints), where they ensure the smooth running of projects and maintains high-quality standards. Allan is also a Co-Founder and Podcaster at Data Hackers, the largest community for data science, data engineering, and machine learning in Latin America. Prior to these roles, Allan was the Founder and Lead Data Engineer at Data Minders, where they focused on building data engineering solutions. Allan also worked as a Data Engineer at MaxMilhas, where they were responsible for designing and maintaining the software architecture for data acquisition and governance. Before that, Allan gained experience as a Software Developer in companies like Dito - Especialistas em Retenção and Montreal Oficial. Allan also had internships as an Intern Research Assistant at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and served as the Finance Director at UFMG Informática Júnior.

Allan Sene began their education at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in 2008, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. However, they did not complete the degree and left in 2011. In 2015, they re-enrolled at the same university with a different focus, this time studying Information Systems. Again, they did not finish the degree and dropped out in 2018. In addition to their college studies, Allan Sene obtained several certifications. Allan earned the AWS Business Professional certification from Amazon Web Services in December 2018. In October 2015, they achieved a TOEFL ITP score of 583 from ETS Global B.V. Furthermore, they obtained the Berkeley Big Data XSeries certification from edX in August 2015. Allan also has additional certifications from edX, including the edX Verified Certificate for Introduction to Big Data with Apache Spark and the edX Verified Certificate for Scalable Machine Learning. Finally, they completed a course titled "Data Mesh na Prática" from Dadosfera (formerly DataSprints), although the specific completion month and year are unknown.
