Spencer G Stephens is an experienced theatre professional who has served as the Director and Instructor of Middle School Theatre at The Mount Vernon School since July 2020. In addition, Stephens has been an Education Associate at Georgia Ensemble Theatre since June 2007 and an Actor/Improvisor at Dad's Garage Theatre Company since April 2003. Other notable roles include Puppeteer at the Center for Puppetry Arts and Performing Arts Technical Director at St. Martin's Episcopal School in Atlanta from August 2006 to July 2020. Early in the career, Stephens worked as an Actor, Sound Designer, and Puppet Designer for Aurora Theatre, as well as a Guest Improvisor for Relapse Theatre in 2008. A background in finance includes a role as Senior Accountant at Kurt Salmon Associates from September 1999 to February 2003. Spencer G Stephens holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from North Carolina Central University, completed in 1993, and a High School Diploma from Kings Mountain Senior High.

We now entertain more than 30,000 people per year at a two-theatre facility in Little Five Points, public events across the state, and at improv festivals across the continent. In addition to our regularly scheduled improv and scripted shows, the Dad's Garage cast regularly performs at private events.
