Jakob Rieckh

Jakob Rieckh has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jakob started their career as a Trainee at Swisscom in 2008 and later became a Project Portfolio Manager in 2009. In 2012, they joined Accenture as a Delivery Lead & Release Manager and worked there until 2014. At Accenture, they gained experience in the Telecommunication industry and worked on Technology Strategy and IT Transformation projects as a Senior Technology Strategy Consultant from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, Jakob joined Citymapper as the General Manager for Germany. Jakob later became the Head of Cities in 2017 and worked there until 2020. Alongside their role at Citymapper, Jakob also worked as an External Advisor at Daedalean AI starting in 2020. Currently, Jakob holds positions at both Daedalean AI as a Technical Program Manager and Citymapper as an External Advisor.

Jakob started their education journey in 2002 at Technische Universität Wien, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Computer Science in 2006. During their undergraduate studies, they participated in an exchange semester at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2005 to further broaden their knowledge.

Seeking to expand their understanding of business administration, Jakob attended INSEAD in 2014 and 2015, where they achieved a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

In 2019, Jakob further enhanced their skills in Fullstack Web Development by completing a Nanodegree program at Udacity. This demonstrated their commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the field.
