Kitty Fung has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Kitty began their career in 1988 as a Financial Associate at Kraft General Foods, where they focused on P&L consolidation and strategic planning. Kitty then moved on to roles at Grolier and Pepsi Cola International, where they gained experience in financial planning, analysis, and control. Fung later joined Arthur Andersen as a Senior Manager in Business Consulting, overseeing a team of consultants and managing client relationships.

In 1999, Fung joined Citibank as a Vice President in Strategy and Corporate Development, where they focused on strategic planning, cost management, and business process improvement. Kitty also played a key role in starting up Citibank's first retail banking operation in Shanghai and automating the financial reporting process in Taiwan.
