Kitty Fung

Kitty Fung has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Kitty began their career in 1988 as a Financial Associate at Kraft General Foods, where they focused on P&L consolidation and strategic planning. Kitty then moved on to roles at Grolier and Pepsi Cola International, where they gained experience in financial planning, analysis, and control. Fung later joined Arthur Andersen as a Senior Manager in Business Consulting, overseeing a team of consultants and managing client relationships.

In 1999, Fung joined Citibank as a Vice President in Strategy and Corporate Development, where they focused on strategic planning, cost management, and business process improvement. Kitty also played a key role in starting up Citibank's first retail banking operation in Shanghai and automating the financial reporting process in Taiwan.

Fung's career then took their to Esprit, where they served as the General Manager of Finance and Administration for the Asia Pacific region. Kitty took on responsibility for the finance and accounting functions and ensured compliance with regulatory requirements.

In 2003, Fung joined the Hong Kong Jockey Club as the Head of Financial Planning & Support for Overseas Betting Development. In this role, they supported the Club's overseas business expansion initiatives and built financial teams and internal control mechanisms.

From 2010 to 2016, Fung served as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Vitasoy International Holdings Ltd. Here, they provided strategic initiatives and directed functions such as planning, budgeting, accounting, and investor relations for the group. Kitty also supervised country CFOs and finance teams in multiple locations.

Fung's most recent role is as the Executive Director and Group Chief Financial Officer at Dah Chong Hong Holdings Limited. Kitty collaborates closely with the Board of Directors and the Group CEO to develop and implement strategies across the company. Fung leads a large finance organization spanning multiple countries and oversees various aspects of financial management.

Kitty Fung pursued higher education, starting with their Bachelor's degree in Social Science, with a major in Economics, from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Kitty attended this institution from 1981 to 1986. In 1982-1983, Kitty Fung participated in an exchange program at Williams College, focusing on Economics. Continuing their education, they obtained their MBA from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, specializing in Finance and Marketing, from 1986 to 1988.

In terms of certifications, Kitty Fung achieved the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute in July 2002. Kitty also became a Certified Public Accountant through the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants in July 1997.
