Shay Mattiuz

Shay Mattiuz has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2016, they started as a Hostess and Trainer at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Treasurer for UWEC Women's Club Volleyball, gaining leadership experience and handling monetary responsibilities. Simultaneously, they also worked as a Writing Assistant at UW-Eau Claire Center for Writing Excellence, collaborating with writers from different disciplines and staff members. In 2020, Shay became a Support Mentor at UW-Eau Claire Center for Writing Excellence (CWE), providing assistance to students. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Sales Associate and Services Specialist at Office Depot, where they assisted clients in their print needs and provided design and editing services. In 2021, Shay had an Editorial Internship at Volume One. Later in the same year, they worked as a Work Readiness Specialist at Workforce Resource Inc. Currently, they are employed at Dahl Consulting, where they started as an Associate Recruiter and later held the positions of Contract Project Coordinator and Client Services Coordinator.

Shay Mattiuz began their education at Maple Grove Senior High from 2013 to 2017. They did not obtain a specific degree or pursue a specific field of study during this time. Subsequently, from 2017 to 2021, Shay attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. They obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a major in English Linguistics, and minors in Marketing and Creative Writing.
