Al Hockaday

Al Hockaday, CHST, possesses extensive experience in safety management within the construction and industrial sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Construction Safety Systems at TriMet since June 2024, Al oversees the agency's Construction Safety Programs and manages safety for capital projects. In addition, Al has held roles such as Project Safety Supervisor at Dahlgren Industrial, where oversight of safety programs for an industrial plant project was essential, and Safety Manager positions at Safe T Professionals, LLC and SHES, LLC. Previous roles include serving as Safety Director at Stetner Construction Group and Sr. Safety Manager at Dragados USA, where Al implemented safety programs for significant joint venture projects. With a strong educational background in Occupational Safety and Health from Montana Technological University, Al brings a comprehensive skill set to health, environmental, and safety consulting.
