Bachtiar Bachtiar has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. bachtiar is currently working at Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar as a Distribution Operations employee since January 2023. Later, they became the Head of Distribution Operations, managing support functions for the multi-distribution sales force, including agency, bancassurance, and direct marketing.

Bachtiar's earlier experience includes working as an IT Manager at PT Panin Life Tbk from March 2000 to February 2006.

From 1984 to 1989, Bachtiar Bachtiar attended Universitas Katolik Parahyangan, where they obtained their S1 degree in Civil Engineering.
