Emerald Mya Pyie Sone

Emerald Mya Pyie Sone has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Emerald currently holds the position of Head of Group Insurance Business at Dai-ichi Life Insurance Myanmar, a role they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, they served as the AVP of Partnership Distribution at the same company starting from April 2021.

Before joining the insurance industry, Emerald worked at IM Ringier Co. Ltd (Duwun) from 2016 to 2021. Emerald started as the Head of Sales in October 2016 and later became the Head of Business Development in July 2017.

Emerald's experience also includes a tenure at International SOS as a Business Development Manager from October 2014 to October 2016. In this role, they were responsible for identifying opportunities for campaigns, attending industrial functions, and leading expansion efforts in new and existing markets.

Emerald'searliest role was as a Customer Service Executive at Prima Food Pte Ltd from January 2010 to January 2011. Here, they interacted with customers, handled service recovery, and managed guest accounts.

Emerald Mya Pyie Sone pursued their education in business administration and management. From 2004 to 2008, they attended Yangon Institute of Economics and obtained a Bachelor of Business Management degree. Later, from 2011 to 2013, they enrolled in Murdoch University to complete their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management.
