Shahira Emara

Shahira Emara is an experienced professional currently serving as the Partnership Development Fund Manager for the Business Egypt project at DAI, which supports micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises through USAID funding since December 2022. Shahira has held significant roles at the British Embassy since September 2016, including strategic management of the Newton Mosharafa Fund, which fosters science, research, and innovation in Egypt. Prior experience includes serving as a Programme Manager for the Newton Mosharafa Fund at the British Embassy Cairo and working as Knowledge Services Manager at GDNet, focusing on capacity building and knowledge management across various regions. Shahira began her career as an Accountant at Project Hope. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in International Relations from Hult International Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management from Cairo University, supplemented by professional training in development and training.
