William Thompson

William Thompson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and development, focusing on governance, workforce development, and social responsibility across various regions, including MENA, Afghanistan, and West Africa. Currently serving as the Director of the Project Delivery Team at DAI since March 2015, William leads the Jordan Workforce Development Program, a $40 million initiative aimed at enhancing employment opportunities for marginalized groups. Previous roles at Noble Energy and DAI involved managing significant social investment and security symposium projects, respectively, with notable achievements in capacity building and stakeholder engagement. William has also held leadership positions in various NGOs, overseeing multi-million dollar budgets and managing diverse teams to implement impactful programs in challenging environments. William holds a B.A. in Political Science from Widener University and a graduate degree from The Fletcher School at Tufts University.
