Yulia Vorobyeva

Yulia Vorobyeva, PhD, is a Senior Principal Specialist in the Accountability, Citizen Security, and Justice Practice within the Governance Sector at DAI as of September 2023. Concurrently, Yulia holds a position as a Lecturer at Florida International University, teaching graduate and undergraduate courses related to youth violence, gangs, and Latin American studies since May 2018. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Research and Technical Consultant for private practice, a Consultant at UNODC, and a Research Fellow at UNICRI. Yulia's educational background includes a PhD in International Studies from the University of Miami and a graduate certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard Extension School, among other degrees in linguistics and Spanish.
