Lorenzo Maria Faramondi

Lorenzo Maria Faramondi is an accomplished R&D Mechanical Design Engineer currently employed at Daikin Applied Europe since December 2022. In this role, Lorenzo focuses on mechanical design for chillers, utilizing Solidworks for CAD design, managing spare parts documentation, creating AutoCAD layouts, and performing static FEM simulations with FEMAP. Prior to this, Lorenzo served as a Mechanical Engineer Consultant at Teoresi Group and conducted a master's thesis at Vento CFD srl, concentrating on fluid dynamics in railway tunnels. Lorenzo also contributed to the aerodynamics division of Scuderia Tor Vergata, specializing in CFD simulations for car design, and gained hands-on experience in the suspension group of the same team. Lorenzo holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution, complemented by a high school diploma in Physical Sciences.
