Benny Wong Tze Shiong has extensive work experience in various roles within the manufacturing industry. Benny started their career in 2004 at O.Y.L. Manufacturing Company Sdn Bhd, where they worked as an Engineer in the Engineering Department. In this position, they were responsible for installation and modification of manufacturing lines, as well as ensuring the maintenance of equipment for stable production operations.

Benny then moved on to become a Senior Engineer in the Corporate Manufacturing Planning Department, where they worked from 2008 to 2012. During this time, they focused on strategic planning and implementing innovative approaches, such as Kaizen activities, to enhance the knowledge and capabilities of operational workers.

From 2012 to 2014, Benny Wong worked as the Manager of the Strategic Management Department at O.Y.L. Manufacturing Company. In this role, they implemented concrete tools and training programs, such as the Production of Daikin System (PDS) training and Kaizen audits, to drive continuous improvement and enhance product profitability.

Since 2014, Benny Wong has been working at Daikin Malaysia Sdn Bhd. Benny initially joined as the Manager of the Group Manufacturing Improvement, where they were responsible for analyzing financial and operational data to identify strategic opportunities and set strategic plans for continuous improvement in production. Benny also oversaw the training center, providing induction programs and certification training.

In 2017, Benny Wong became the Head of the Supply Chain Department at Daikin Malaysia Sdn Bhd, before transitioning to the role of Deputy Head of Group Manufacturing Strategy in 2018. Currently, they serve as the Head of the Production Department, overseeing all production-related activities.

Throughout their career, Benny Wong has demonstrated a strong focus on continuous improvement, strategic planning, and enhancing operational efficiency within the manufacturing industry.

Benny Wong Tze Shiong obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Adelaide from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained various certifications throughout their career.
